SANDAKAN: Sabah
Barisan Nasional (BN) is making use of the social media in explaining issues
and thwarting the propaganda of the opposition political parties, its
secretary, Datuk Abdul Rahman Dahlan, said here.
“The social
media is an important platform in politics now, and Sabah BN does not want to
be left out of the picture,” he said at a dinner with Beluran BN leaders last
night.
Abdul Rahman,
who is the MP for Kota Belud, said the use of the social media to reach out was
an alternative, besides going down to the ground to meet the people.
It was one of
the approaches adopted in the preparations of Sabah BN to face the next general
election, he added.
