Opposition leaders are ‘blind’ to the development
brought about by the Barisan Nasional (BN) Government, Kota Belud member of
parliament Datuk Abdul Rahman Dahlan said.
“They do not
appreciate the development the Government has implemented for the people
especially those at the grassroots level,” the Sabah BN Secretary said during a
meet-the-people gathering at Kampung Rampayan Ulu here recently.
Abdul Rahman claimed
that the opposition had never ceased accusing the BN Government of being cruel to
the people.
“What is worse is
that the opposition’s accusation that the BN Government is oppressing the
rakyat. The BN Government is doing its best to make life easier for the rakyat
through various approaches such as the distribution of the BR1M, free education
and ensuring the peace and security of the state.
“But the opposition
is accusing the Government of doing the opposite and is being oppressive,” he
stressed
